  • You and the Danish media as well as the rest of other media that re-published the cartoons are not promoting freedom of speech but rather promoting the freedom of ignorance. If you take the time to learn about Islam and the prophet you will be able to understand the significance of what harm these cartoons have inflected.

  • These people are back in the dark ages!
All this protest is being orchestrated by the mullahs. It appears that the prophet did not have a sense of humor!
Religion is the biggest confidence trick ever perpertrated on mankind and has caused more misery than any other factor. If Christians were not offended by the humor in the film "The life of Brian" then what the hell have these people to bitch about.

  • I teach high school English and showed the cartoons you posted to all my classes. We had a great discussion concerning not allowing threats of terrorism dictate the way we conduct our lives, or compromise our First Amendment principles. Good for the Danes. They stood up to Hitler, and sixty years later, they stood up to the Islamonazis.

  • It sounds like the freedom of speech trumps the respect of other people's religion and culture. I have been following the priests child malestation story for a while, so if we follow logic, the picture showing the prophet Mohamed with a bomb in his turban eluding to the fact that he is/was a terrorist, so by saying and deducting that, we could also say that jesus is/was a child malestor himself. And while we are at it there are too many guys in the church, can we deduct that jesus was also guy?...I am not saying that because I glorify jesus as much as I glorify the prophet Mohamed. But I am just igniting the debate over the freedom of speech and the logic of events...
