Fulton County D.A. Wants To Put The Mentally Ill In Prison.

In yesterday's Daily Gazette, the Fulton County District Attorney was quoted as saying that "animal collectors" are mentally ill but then said in another place that several animal collectors arrested in Fulton County should have gotten jail time or more jail time. If people who collect many animals and then don't take care of them properly are mentally ill (and I believe they are), then they need mental health services not jail. If you think mental health services are poor outside of jail, then trying getting them inside jail.

It's time to stop mixing the mentally ill with those who are criminals.
